Candidates live on WhatsApp and Telegram. We build staffing agencies a candidate bot that answers them there.
We build your agency a candidate bot on WhatsApp or Telegram. Candidates opt in, chat in apps they already use, and a recruiter takes over when needed. The first sample flow is free.
WhatsApp rules checked October 19, 2026 against Meta's documentation. Sources: Meta on getting opt-in, Meta on pricing and the customer service window and the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
Why use WhatsApp and Telegram for candidate messages?
Candidates already use these apps every day, so a question gets answered where they are, not in an inbox they may not open.
There is no app to install, no login and no form to fill in. The candidate opens a chat and asks. What the bot does once the chat is open is described on the recruiting chatbot page.
What does WhatsApp require from a staffing agency?
To message candidates on WhatsApp, a staffing agency needs its own WhatsApp Business Platform account. Four rules decide what the bot may send.
- Opt-in: the candidate agrees to be messaged before the agency writes first, and the agency states its business name when it asks.
- The 24-hour window: a candidate's message opens a window of 24 hours, and only while it is open can the bot send ordinary, non-template messages.
- Templates: once the window has closed, the agency can send only message templates that Meta has approved.
- Opt-out: when a candidate asks the agency to stop, the messages stop.
The agency holds the account, so the chats and the candidate data stay with the agency. We set up the templates with you, write the first message that explains what the bot does, and check the current WhatsApp rules with you before launch, because Meta changes them.
How does the Telegram version work?
Telegram needs a bot created under your agency's account. Candidates open the bot from a link and the chat starts, with no template approval step.
A candidate has to press start or send a message first, so the opt-in is built into how Telegram works.
How do candidates opt in?
They start the chat themselves, by tapping a link or scanning a code, or by messaging your number. The first reply tells them what the bot does and that a recruiter is available.
We write that first message with you, in plain words, in each language you approve.
Do recruiters contact candidates on WhatsApp?
Yes, an agency can, under WhatsApp's rules: the candidate opts in first and the agency states its business name. When the candidate writes first, the bot's first reply says what the bot does and that a recruiter is available.
Which messenger should we start with?
Start with the one your candidates already write to you on. If you are not sure, tell us in the form and we will suggest one. After screening, the bot can offer call slots on either messenger.
